Production Strategy

I plan on returning to the spot on the dead end off of Oakland ave. If that spot has changed drastically, I will look for a similar construction site. I plan to explore the spot in depth and see what I can find.

My image capturing strategies are I am going to take pictures from the least expected angle and of mirrored light and reflections.

My sound capturing strategy is to capture sounds as they occur naturally from the area, as they pertain to the site itself.

10 Questions

Ten Questions:
1) Is there anything I’m missing when I go out on my drifts?
2) Is anything I can do to better explore my surroundings?
3) Is my decision making too consistent?
4) Am I ignoring certain aspects of my surrounding?
5) Am I giving too much attention to certain aspects of my surroundings?
6) Is there anything I can do to avoid the frustration of finding everything too similar?
7) Is there a part of the city that would completely change how I perceived it in the first two drifts?
8) Is there something I haven’t found in the areas of the city I have already explored?
9) Is there any way to accurately portray different parts of the city, while still having a cohesive piece?
10) Is it possible to create a piece that applies lessons learned but bears no resemblance to the first two.

Drift Assesment #4

4. Describe your favorite experience, situation, place, or recollection from either of your Drifts. Be specific about what happened, how you felt, how you reacted, and why you think this particular experience affected you so much.

My favorite place I encountered was on my second drift. It was a dead end off of Oakland ave., there were a few cranes and other construction equipment. It was an oddly peaceful spot, and it was a fun place to look around and try and find some things.
